Internet access: 
 
 A person having a current Fairfax Library card is eligible to use the Public Access Computers.
 
A visitor may sign in to use a computer, but after several computer sessions will be required to get a library card.
 
A juveniles under 18 must have parent/guardian permission designated on the juvenile's library card. A juvenile under 12 must have parent/guardian supervision during computer usage.
 
Computer sessions are limited to one hour unless there is no one waiting.

The use of the library or its services may be denied for due cause. Such cause may be failure to return books, pay penalties, destruction of library property, disturbance of other patrons, objectionable or offensive internet use, failure to observe policies or any other objectionable conduct on library premises.
REGULAR LIBRARY CARD: 
 
FREE of charge! Juveniles under 16 yrs. must have parent/guardian signature. Persons residing outside the town of Fairfax, but in the near geographical area, shall be considered residents. Persons in the area not owning property are required to have a local property owner as a reference.
 
 
LIBRARY E-CARD: 
 
ANYONE - ANYWHERE is eligible for our Library E-card. FREE of charge! E-card holders are able to download from our Virtual Library E-book/Audiobook collection anytime and from anywhere. You must contact the library with your basic information and email address. A library card number and password will be assigned to the e-card holder. You can then access our catalog and download items with your e-card number/password.  E-cards are not valid for checking out physical books from the Library. You must have a regular Library card to do this.
